Aartian Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Aartian”, “we”, “us”) builds and operates enterprise AI systems. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what you can do about it.
It covers aartian.com and beta.aartian.com only. Personal data we process on behalf of a client, inside a client engagement, is governed by that client’s contract and Data Processing Agreement, not by this policy. In that context we are a processor, not a controller.

2. What we collect
When you submit the contact form. Your name, work email, organisation (optional), and whatever you write in the message field. We ask for nothing else and there are no hidden fields.
Automatically, when you visit. Our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer and timestamp. These are generated by the web server, not by us, and we do not link them to any individual.
We do not collect special category data, run behavioural profiling on visitors, buy or enrich contact data from third parties, or operate a newsletter list.
3. Why we process it, and on what basis

Where GDPR applies and we rely on legitimate interest, we have assessed that our interest in operating a business does not override your rights. You can object at any time. See section 8.
4. Cookies and tracking
This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress may set a session cookie if you log into the admin area, which does not apply to ordinary visitors.
If we later add analytics or a Meta pixel, this section will be updated before that happens, and a consent mechanism added where the law requires one.
5. Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for advertising. We disclose it only where legally compelled, and we will tell you unless prohibited from doing so.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside India and outside the EEA. Where GDPR applies, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. Where the DPDP Act applies, transfers are made only to jurisdictions not restricted by the Central Government.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become client relationships. 24 months from last contact, then deleted.
- Enquiries that become client relationships. For the life of the relationship plus the statutory retention period.
- Server logs. As retained by our host, typically under 30 days.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct it; have it erased; restrict or object to processing; receive it in a portable format; withdraw consent where consent was the basis; and complain to a supervisory authority. Under the DPDP Act you may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
To exercise any of these, email hello@aartian.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting, and we will not charge you unless a request is manifestly excessive.
If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EEA or UK.
9. Security
Data is transmitted over TLS. Enquiry email is held in Google Workspace with access limited to the people who need it. We do not copy client data to our own infrastructure: client work happens inside the client’s own cloud tenancy by default.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
10. Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged clearly rather than made quietly.
