Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated 16 August 2026

This page explains how to ask Aartian Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to delete personal data we hold about you, and what happens when you do.

What data this covers

If you contacted us through this website. Your name, work email, organisation and the message you sent, held in our business email.

If you interacted with us through Facebook, Instagram or another Meta service. Any name, email address or message passed to us by that platform when you contacted us, submitted a lead form, or messaged our page. We do not receive your Meta password, friends list, or activity outside your interaction with us.

We do not hold behavioural profiles, advertising identifiers linked to your name, or data purchased from brokers.

If you are a client, this is not the right page

Personal data we process on behalf of a client organisation, inside an engagement, is controlled by that client and not by us. We cannot delete it on an individual’s instruction, because doing so would breach our contract with the controller.

If your data is held by an Aartian client, contact that organisation directly. If you are unsure, email us and we will tell you which route applies.

How to request deletion

Email hello@aartian.com with the subject line “Data deletion request”, and include:

  1. The name and email address you used when you contacted us
  2. Roughly when the contact happened, if you remember
  3. Which platform it came through, if it was not this website: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, email

That is all. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask for one.

What happens next

Step Timing
We acknowledge your request Within 3 working days
We verify you are the person the data relates to Usually the same reply
We delete the data and confirm in writing Within 30 days of the request

Verification exists to stop someone else deleting your record. Usually a reply from the same email address is enough; we will not demand identity documents for a routine request.

What we may have to keep

We will tell you specifically if any of this applies to you:

  • Records required by Indian tax and company law. Where you are a paying client, invoicing and accounting records must be retained for the statutory period.
  • Records needed to establish or defend a legal claim. Retained only while that need exists.
  • Backups. Deleted records may persist in encrypted backups until those backups age out, normally within 30 days. They are not restored into active use.

Anything not covered by the above is deleted, not merely deactivated or hidden.

Your other rights

Deletion is one of several rights you may have. You can also request access to, correction of, or a copy of your data, and you can object to processing. See our Privacy Policy for the full list and the legal basis for each.

If you are unhappy with how we handle a request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EEA or UK.
